1. Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions:

The Company means Crafted Home Solutions Ltd.
The Customer means the person, partnership, business, or organisation placing an order with the Company.
The Goods means any products, materials, installations, services, or works supplied pursuant to an accepted order.

2. Contract Formation

By accepting a quotation, signing an order form, or otherwise confirming an order, the Customer agrees to purchase the Goods and services specified by the Company.

3. Bespoke Products

Many products supplied by the Company are manufactured specifically to the Customer’s requirements. Bespoke and made-to-measure Goods cannot be cancelled, returned, or credited once manufacture has commenced except where required by law.

4. Payment Terms

The balance of the contract price shall become due immediately upon completion of installation or delivery of the Goods.

Any overdue amount shall accrue interest at a rate of 2.5% per month until paid in full.

5. Technical Survey

All orders are accepted subject to a final technical survey undertaken by the Company to verify measurements, site conditions, and installation requirements.

6. Company Right to Cancel

Should the technical survey reveal circumstances preventing the Company from fulfilling the contract safely or within the agreed specification and price, the Company may cancel the order. Any deposit paid will be refunded in full.

7. Customer Approval

The Customer confirms that all specifications, measurements, diagrams, product selections, and descriptions have been checked and approved prior to manufacture.

8. Transfer of Risk

Where Goods are collected by the Customer, risk shall pass when the Goods leave the Company’s premises.

For installations undertaken by the Company, risk shall pass upon completion of installation.

9. Retention of Title

Ownership of the Goods shall remain with the Company until payment has been received in full and cleared through the Company’s bank account.

10. Access for Installation

The Customer shall provide the Company with reasonable access to the property for the purpose of carrying out the agreed works.

Where an installation date has not been agreed within twenty-eight (28) days of notification that the Goods are ready, the Company reserves the right to request payment of the product supply balance.

11. Utilities

The Customer shall provide reasonable access to water and electricity free of charge during the course of installation.

12. Protection of Property

The Company shall exercise all reasonable care whilst working at the Customer’s property. Unless specifically included in the quotation, redecorating, plaster repairs, and making-good works are excluded from the contract price.

13. Hidden Defects and Additional Works

The contract price excludes repairs or replacement relating to rotten timber, defective lintels, hidden services, asbestos, structural defects, or other unforeseen conditions discovered during installation.

Any such works will be subject to a separate quotation and agreement.

14. Fixtures and Fittings

The Company is not responsible for removing or relocating radiators, pipework, electrical equipment, alarms, telephone lines, television cables, blinds, curtains, shutters, or similar fittings unless specifically agreed in writing.

15. Site Restrictions

Damage to fixtures not removed by the Customer remains the responsibility of the Customer.

The Company reserves the right to charge for lost time, labour, or additional costs where installation cannot proceed due to site-specific restrictions or conditions beyond its control.

16. Removal and Disposal

Existing windows, doors, frames, glazing, and associated materials removed during installation will be disposed of unless the Customer requests otherwise.

Whilst every reasonable effort will be made to protect and clean working areas, the Company cannot guarantee complete removal of all dust, debris, or installation residue.

17. Product Development

The Company reserves the right to make minor variations to its products, specifications, or materials as part of its ongoing programme of quality improvement and product development.

18. Acceptance of Goods

Goods shall be deemed accepted unless the Customer notifies the Company of any defects within twenty-four (24) hours of delivery, collection, or completion.

Signing a completion or delivery document shall constitute acceptance unless defects are noted at the time.

19. Guarantees

Any product or workmanship guarantee shall commence on completion of the works, provided that all amounts due under the contract have been paid in full.

Guarantees are subject to the terms set out within the Company’s written guarantee documentation.

20. Finance Applications

Where an order is conditional upon finance approval, cancellation shall only be permitted upon receipt of written confirmation that finance has been declined.

Upon such confirmation, any deposit paid shall be refunded and the contract shall be treated as cancelled.

21. Delivery and Installation Timescales

All delivery and installation dates are estimates provided in good faith.

The Company shall not be liable for delays resulting from adverse weather conditions, supplier issues, labour shortages, force majeure events, or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

22. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company’s liability for any claim arising from the contract shall not exceed the value of the Goods and services supplied under that contract.

The Company shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or business losses.

23. Condensation

The Company does not guarantee that its products will prevent, eliminate, or reduce condensation, which may arise from environmental, structural, or lifestyle factors.
