Product Guarantee

Crafted Home Solutions Ltd guarantees all PVCu window and door frames supplied and installed by us against defects in welded joints and excessive frame distortion for a period of up to 10 years from the date of installation. This guarantee is subject to the product being used and maintained in accordance with the recommendations of the relevant system manufacturer.

Sealed glazing units are covered by a 5-year guarantee from the installation date against failure of the hermetic seal, resulting in moisture ingress or condensation forming between the panes of glass.

All locking systems, hinges, handles, and other mechanical or metal moving components are guaranteed for 12 months from the date of installation, provided they receive reasonable care and routine maintenance. Cosmetic deterioration, surface wear, fading, or damage to handles, letterplates, knockers, and similar decorative hardware resulting from normal use is excluded from this guarantee.

Exclusions

This guarantee does not cover:

• Condensation occurring on the surface of the glass or elsewhere within the property.
• Accidental damage or breakage of glass after installation has been completed.
• Damage arising from misuse, neglect, abuse, alteration, unauthorised repairs, or improper maintenance.
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss resulting from a defect or failure of the products supplied.

Guarantee Conditions

All guarantees are provided in good faith by Crafted Home Solutions Ltd. Should an inspection determine that a product has been misused, tampered with, deliberately damaged, or subjected to conditions outside its intended use, this guarantee shall become invalid.

Where remedial work is requested on products no longer covered by this guarantee, such work may be undertaken at a pre-agreed charge. Payment for such work may be required before attendance or commencement of repairs.

Transfer of Guarantee

This guarantee may be transferred to a subsequent property owner, subject to an inspection of the installation by Crafted Home Solutions Ltd. An administration and/or inspection fee may apply.

Remedies

Should any material or workmanship defect arise during the applicable guarantee period, Crafted Home Solutions Ltd reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to repair, replace, or otherwise rectify the affected product.

Manufacturer Warranties

Customers will also benefit from any applicable manufacturers’ warranties relating to materials and components supplied as part of the installation. Copies of these warranties can be obtained from Crafted Home Solutions Ltd upon completion of the contract.
